The 2007 Heavyweight UK Championships: Heat C

Heat C of the 2007 UK Championships was the third heat of the 2007 UK Championships held from the 28th-31st August at Hafan Y Mor Holliday Park in Wales, It was the third heat to determine which would be the third machine through to the finals later on in the week. The 3 competing robots fought out in battles in a league system to try and earn points to go through. The battles of the heat took part on the 28th August 2007.

Iron-Awe 5 Vs TillyEwe 2

Both robots started circling around each other to try and get their flippers under each other, Iron-Awe 5 got the first flip on TillyEwe 2 in an attempt to get it out the arena which failed. Iron-Awe 5 then got behind and pinned TillyEwe 2 against the arena wall before attempting to flip TillyEwe 2 out the arena again which this time succeeded.

Iron-Awe 3 (2) Vs TillyEwe 2

Iron-Awe 3 got the first flip on TillyEwe 2 hurling it through the air, but the orange and black robot self-righted and carried on. TillyEwe 2 then pursued Iron-Awe 3 into the arena wall flipping it into the barrier which immobilised the seeded robot. TillyEwe 2 flipped Iron-Awe 3 over and tried to flip it out the arena and failed every attempt. But TillyEwe 2 won anyway as Iron-Awe 3 was immobilised for more than 60 seconds.

Iron-Awe 3 (2) Vs Iron-Awe 5

This was a fight between two robots from the same team, it didn't last very long as Iron-Awe 5 used its only flip of the fight to flip its predecessor out of the arena.
