in February 2013, Roaming Robots purchased the official Robot Wars brand name from Robot Wars LLC, to host the 'Official Series 8' Robot Wars 2013 Championships. However, just like with the 2012 Heavyweight UK Championships, Robots Live! is the company permitted by the FRA to hold the 2013 Heavyweight UK Championships, which was held from the 21st to the 22nd of September in Flintshire, and was won by Eruption.
